Getting to more serious issues … Peter! Who is that guy? WHOOOO CARES?! RIGHT?! Ummmm, please, not so fast. Why is he so important to the health and goodness of our Pittsburgh Penguins to deserve his own post? Well to some it might seem like a completely random and chaotic coincidence. To others who dare to call themselves true Pensheads this is all about the Pens, right?! YOU DAMN RIGHT I AM RIGHT! Why else would you be reading this one-of-the-best-self-proclaimed-Pittsburgh-Penguins-blogs-on-the-web?! You are a true Penshead, much like Peter. So, i know you DO CARE! Since you care its my responsibility to make sure you find out the truth about THE DEVIL!

Lets rewind back a little …. ok stop here. NYC Pittsburgh Penguins Meetup Group (meetup.com) … Foleys (thepensblog.com) … yeah … Peter (see above) … ok that guy. I met him couple of times … umm cool d00d … likes the Pens … diehard … true Penshead! ‘Nuff said right? Wrong … come Stanley Cup finals 2009. I’ll be honest i’ve heard rumors … maybe even Peter mentioned something himself … maybe we just laughed it off and tried to pretend like nothing serious was said. However, maybe to some of us who haven’t shaved for weeks and weeks it wasn’t that funny. Maybe, it wasn’t even that funny to Peter himself. Maybe, if you haven’t seen Yinz Luv ‘Da Guins Stanley Cup Finals Game 7 video then your life is incomplete. If you have seen it then watch it again and enjoy how fantastically unreal yinz guys be kickin it in NYC. This time pay close attention to what Peter says during his interview … Ummm … what … game 1, 2, and 5 of SCF? WTF?!@?!?@?!

Peter went to 3 Stanley Cup Finals games (all in Detroit) just to watch Penguins lose. What a bummer right? Of course and all would be well if the story ended here. However, it doesn’t, it keeps going! Imagine 9 long years and at least 15 games of not seeing Pittsburgh Penguins win a single game. In fact, latest update is that Peter went back to Detroit for the preseason game and we all know the 4-1 outcome of that. This should be illegal! The way i see it the reason Penguins won the cup is only because Peter didn’t go to see them play in game 7. Why didn’t he go to do that? Because he loves the Penguins that much! Thank you Peter, however, there is some serious foul play and dark forces involved here. No doubt! Seems like Peter is possessed, maybe not by the Devil himself, but something nastier than the curse of our beloved Judas friend Marian Hossa. Why is it important now and how does it affect Penguins? First of all let me assure you that Peter will not be at the home opener game against the NY Strangers, you can all relax and sleep well, well at least for 1 more night. Because the very next day Pens are playing Isles on Long Island, NY at 7:00pm. NYC Penguins meetup group organized a field trip to take over the  Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Much thanks to Mark our “C” for getting over 120 tickets and calling it a blackout night. But how black and dark will that night be? Dark enough for Peter to go!!!! NOOOOOOooo! So how much does Peter love Penguins? Apparently, enough to volunteer himself and his funds to rid himself of this nasty illness, this dirty disease, this nagging wound that just keeps bleeding. True story, i cant make this stuff up, i have witnesses:

I told Peter, you have to do this, not for yourself, not for me, not for us, but for the Penguins. Tomorrow after work Peter and I are going to Enchantments Inc retail store in NYC to beg those people for something to make this stop, to make this go away and disappear forever, something to bring the sunshine back into Peters life. After that we are going to Foley’s to cheer on the Pens at home opener. May the Allah, Moses, Jesus, Mother Mary and Buddha be on our side, Amen.
