Great game for Penguins last night. 4-1 win over Ottawa Senators. Senators have been doing pretty good this season taking on teams that didn’t make the playoffs last year. However, they were not able to do anything against Pens on Monday night. Worth mentioning that both Sid and Geno were pointless in this game. Just goes to show how much talent Penguins have on their team. Bill Guerin with a huge goal just seconds after Senators first and only goal of the game. TK with 2 goals and Jordan Staal continues his 3 game goal streak. Fluery still flawless this season with 5 games and 5 wins! GO MAF!

In some unrelated news I have a confession to make. I haven’t been fully faithful and now finally my cheating way are catching up to me. I am finding myself strangely attracted to the worst team in NHL, the Islanders. I have spend a good part of my life living on Long Island so its not completely alien. I have spend 5 years studying at Stony Brook University and 2 years living in Bethpage. Its a very exciting time for Islanders as they find themselves in a very similar situation that Penguins were when they drafted Sid. So far Islanders haven’t seen a single win this season so i’d feel bad even calling them division rivalry. As Islander fans put it … at least we are a consistent! Consistent at loosing is what they mean. Nevertheless, i will be following the Islanders a little more closely this season and bringing you the best Isles have to offer … THE ICE GIRLS!!!
I was at the Islanders game last night when they were playing LA Kings. Rob Scuderi once knows as “The Piece” now known as “The Missing Piece” was playing for LA Kings. Here is picture of the game … Rich Park doing God-knows-what to Rob Scuderi.
