Hello there! How is everyone’s lower-body feeling today?! Aaaaaaaaaalrighty then! I hope that your lower body is in pretty good shape unless you are one of the following people:

–RW Tyler Kennedy (lower body injury) is out at least until Tuesday. He has missed 9-of-10 games since Oct. 24.

–D Brooks Orpik (lower body injury) was injured Nov. 10 at Boston.

–LW Chris Kunitz (lower body injury) is out two weeks.

–D Alex Goligoski (lower-body injury) is out two weeks. He was injured Saturday against Boston.

Rumors have it that Brooks Orpik will be back tomorrow (Saturday, Nov. 21st) to play against Atlanta Thrashers. The gates of Willy Wonka factory are open once again! Ahh, sweet candy man! Its a tough job but somebody has to do it.

Thanks to Leslie D. for this picture.

I just came back from Toronto where i was working for a month. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to stop by Hockey Hall Of Fame and check out new Pittsburgh Penguins Stanley Cup Champions 2009 display. Fortunately, i met an awesome girl named Jessica R. from Toronto, die-hard Pens fan. Apparently, Jessica spends most of her free time and practically lives in HHOF. She was nice enough to share some pictures with me and you. Enjoy and thank you Jessica!

While i didn’t visit Hockey Hall Of Fame i did get some shopping done. I have invested my dirty American dollar to support Canadian economy and Pittsburgh Penguins. I was walking around the Yonge St and walked by Champs store. Out of the corner of my eye i saw Penguins and Steelers jerseys hanging on the wall. The only Penguins jersey they had was Sidney Crosby 3rd jersey. However, what impressed me was that all the numbers and letters were stitched on, not heat pressed. I decided to investigate a little further. There was two more sports stores i saw on the way to my hotel. The last one i stopped by was the Sports Center located on 366 Yonge St.

I talked to a few pleasant gentlemen inside about a possibility of getting a jersey but only with stitched on numbers and letters. “They said of course, no problem,we are in Canada!” They showed me example of their work and i was very impressed. I put in an order for Evgeni Malkin Home Premier Jersey. I paid upfront and in full $180 Canadian dollars. They told me to come back in 3 days.

3 days later i stopped by to pick up my jersey and was pretty much blown away by the quality of their work. Triple layered stitched letters and numbers. Just amazing! Nothing compared to the $130 bucks i paid on shop.nhl.com for a Replica Home Jersey with a bunch of glued on stickers. I was so impressed with their work that i decided to put in another order for Gonchar’s alternative jersey. Anyway, picture is worth a thousand words. Enjoy!
