If yall was not watching yesterdays game well then yall is a missin’ out on second best game of the season. First one being the 0.4 Papi Scored game. Just simple fact that Vlad Tretiak was in the building could keep one glued to the TV except the interview part where he was talking about Ovie. For that part you could just go to the kitchen and grab some tea. Besides being one of the greatest goaltenders of all time and playing with the Green Unit aka The Original Russian Five (consisted of Vyacheslav Fetisov and Alexei Kasatonov on defense, Sergei Makarov, Igor Larionov and Vladimir Krutov) he is also a GM for the 2010 Russian Winter Olympic team.

Anyway what kind of effect can Vlad have on Russians?

Geno is getting comfortable in his new PP left defenseman position and our PP is getting comfortable with many goals. 3 to be exact last night, 2 of them are by billy g. Geno’s English is getting comfortable as well … enough to be giving out interviews the same way Orpik gives out free candy.

Wait!!!! What?! An untrained ear might have missed that … but lets go back to the “Are you getting more comfortable on the left side?” question … 0:23 … listen closely to Geno’s answer. During his answer at approximately 0:34 while describing his left defenseman position Geno is actually teaching Russian to all the viewers. He says, ” … my left defense защитник position … ” haha Epic! Of course защитник (zaschitnik) means defenseman in Russian!
