Quick update before the game today vs Sens … Coach Dan Bylsma said Mark Eaton is going to miss “a week or so” due to an undisclosed injury.

Apparently JStaal has been promoted from “Gronk” to “Warrior”.

I thought it was funny!

Seth, from EmptyNetters thinks “The economy is so tough these days. Even Fleury has to take a second job as a mall Santa”

Tec from psamp thinks Maxime Talbot will take any second job

Pens Vs Devils And Pens Fans Are Number 1 In NHL!

Monday, December 21st, 2009

Whats this crap i am reading all over the net …!?!?! Reminds me of 2009 SCF Game 7 NHL Playoffs. No one is giving Penguins a chance vs Devils tonight!? HAHAHA! Yeah whats that on December 7, 2009, Brodeur recorded his 103rd career shutout in a 3-0 win against the Buffalo Sabres, tying him with Terry Sawchuk for most career shutouts by an NHL goaltender? Old news! Ohh yeah whats that on December 18, 2009, Brodeur played in his 1,030th game, becoming the all time leader in games played for goalies? Yeah Brodeur is old allright! We get the point. Tonight we put his name to a test!  SAWWWW-CHUKKKKK?!

In life new always replaces old … in some related news Marc-Andre Fleury is the NHL’s second star of the week. How is that shoe-shine working out for you MAF? Fleury had a 1.26 GAA and .957 save percentage in three straight victories last week. He is second in the NHL with 21 wins this season and he could surpass the 40-win plateau this season.

He might be second in the NHL for NHL.com but he is NUMBER ONE for ALL OF US! WHY?!

Eastern Conference Standings after tonight!

WHY!?!?! Because Penguins fans are the best in the NHL! I know i said that many times but this is not me saying it anymore check out Forbes. Mark Eaton will not play Monday due to an undisclosed injury. He will be busy drinking spiked eggnog with his family and we don’t blame him. Happy Holidays to you! He will be replaced by Martin Skoula. In 22 games, Skoula recorded  eight points, 3 goals, 5 assists and is a +2.

I can’t believe Patrick Kane is talking shit again. Regarding Olympics Geno said “Pride for Russia is to win gold. Nothing else.” I say best case scenario is Ovie puts a knee on knee on Patrick Kane and takes his lunch money! To me that is Pride for Russia!

Speaking of Geno, Evgeni Malkin is 3rd on the team in PIM. He took two more successive minors Saturday, one without even being on the ice. Malkin’s game is predicated on backchecking and careful stickwork, but he needs to spend more time on the ice and out of the box. Geno don’t make me curse out in Russian again, its not a pretty sight!

Unreal game for Steelers last night. Read all about it from OFTOT and PSAMP. I am expecting somebody to get me a Mike Wallace jersey for my birthday! Or one of these awesome Penguins ties.

Penguins are winning vs Devils tonight! I am winning that Mario Lemieux jersey tonight! I have donated $100 dollars to the good cause of MLF!

LETS GO PENS!!!

Pens vs Ducks Tonight. Guenin Takes Gogo’s Spot.

Monday, November 16th, 2009

It seems pretty ridiculous at this point that Penguins can’t go a single game without losing someone to an injury. Latest news, Alex Goligoski is out for 2 – 3 weeks with the notorious “lower-body” injury. Gogo has been Penguins top d-man this season with 6 goals and 8 assists. Losing him now will definitely have negative effect on the team. Get well soon Alex!
