I don’t mean to only blog about Geno but i sure as hell enjoy it! Here are some pics that were posted by Nona on the EMGFF. Supposedly these are from his 24th birthday party. Small but classy. Thanks a gazillion!
While most of us were busy scratching our nut sacs, puking our brains out after last nights party, or developing 3rd degree burns on the beaches this summer, Geno was busy making this world a better place. Most of you must have heard that HCDB visited Geno in Moscow. They got it on and had a great time with bunch of groupies from the Russian Penguin fan club called “Penguin Support Crew”. Basically 7 Russian dudes that needed an excuse to sneak out in the middle of the night and go drinking at the local sports bar. If you haven’t heard well then read article here or see photos here.
Well apparently after Geno left Moscow he went back to his home town Magnitogorsk. Here he got his hands dirty making an Olympic Bear painting for the “Symbols Of Russia” charity auctions. All the money raised goes to support local library. Geno mentioned that he hasn’t held a paintbrush in over 10 years but still managed to come up with the following masterpiece.
Look how proud Geno is of his work!
Some action shots …
Apparently the results of the auction were pretty dissapointing. His paiting auctioned off for 2300 rubles which translated to about $76 dollars. Now this is world famous Stanley Cup Champion we are talking about here. While some local boozed up politician’s painting sold for 7000 rubles at the same auction. Just goes to show that Russian people need to get their priorities straight.
On the next day after action Geno and Oksana visited the same foster home for kids as last year. Last year Geno spent some time going over all the local foster homes. This one was the worst one as it had nothing to offer to kids for playing. So he donated a bunch of toys and build a playground for older kids. This year he came back and build two more play groups for toddlers. The kids love Geno and refer to him as “big good uncle”. What is there not to love!?
As the wise man once said … “All You Need Is Love”. Pretty sure John said it but this is close enough.
I’m a firm believer in some tough love, when the situation is right. For example, Pascal tends to react favorably performance wise when usbzoso verbally berates him by roaring “PASCAL, YOU SUCK” as he misses the net by 15 feet… for the third time in a game.
Now, we all know our very favorite Russian, Zhenya Malkin, has just not been himself recently. I could sit here and speculate for the next 3 hours why that is, but I’ll leave it up to you to pick your favorite excuse. It could be anything from a lack of health or lack of confidence to a lack of Mama Malkin’s borscht or lack of satisfying blowjobs from Oksana. Whichever it is, it needs to be rectified…and soon.
Now, screaming “EVGENI, YOU SUCK!” is just not going to work with Malkin. First of all, he probably wouldn’t understand you anyway. Secondly, Geno is just the type of guy that needs understanding support, and reacts better to some old-fashioned unconditional love. So, in an effort to gently kick Geno into high gear, I offer up this reminder:
First Russian on the Conn Smythe, WOW!
Also, as a quick aside, Geno is virtually ensured to snap out of this funk Wednesday night, and have a HUGE game, in honor of usbzoso, since it’s his birthday! That puck hitting the back of the twine for the first time in 10 games will be Geno’s С Днем Рождения to him!
Whats up my yinzers? While you were busy doing whatever you were doing i was busy digging up some quality shots of Geno. After winning Stanely Cup Geno and Oksana decided to take a well deserved vacation in Spain. I believe it happened around 08.07.2009 date. Vacation pictures include slingshots, alligators, goats, donkeys, well and of course sexy Geno. These pictures are almost as sexy as Geno’s shorthanded goal in 6-1 victory over Flyers last night.
LETS GO PENS!!!
Hey guys whhaaats happening? Mmm, yeahhh. I am gonna need to go ahead and do this right, cuz that would be just greeeeat! So i am pretty sure that i am onto something here greater than the theory of relatively which has revolutionized scientific progress. Evgeni Malkin hasn’t scored a goal since November 28th … in a little slump and no real reason to start panicking. Rather than starting dirty rumors to trade Malkin i just want to look at things that might potentially help Geno come out this slump and play like MVP that he is. While my memory is still fresh from the previous food related post i think i have hit bullseye here. While our memory is still fresh from playoffs what has helped Geno the most during playoffs? Answer is simple … mama’s home cooking. Here is what ESPN had to say about Malkin’s success during playoffs:
The secret to Evgeni Malkin’s success is out. Soup and beef.
“My parents are superstars now,” Malkin said after scoring the first playoff hat trick of his career in Pittsburgh’s 7-4 win over Carolina on Thursday night. “They’ve helped me in everything. My mom now before game is great cooker. I feel good now.
“I love Russian food, and my mom cooks Russian food. It’s helped me. My favorite food is beef, and before every game I have soup.”
Since Geno is no longer being fed by his mom what is he left with? Party girl Oksana Kondakova who probably couldn’t even boil an egg! Poor Geno! What can you do to help!? Make some great home cooking and send it to Geno’s house so he can score some mad goals!
Found these pics on LetsGoPens.com … jwienand’s buddy is putting up Jumbotron and was able to take these pictures from inside of Console Energy Center!
Some Genotease for you in another bet-you-haven’t-seen-these-pictures episode. I am friends with Oksana Kondakova thats how i get these pictures. Enjoy and LETS GO PENS!!!
Not sure if this has been made public throughout English speaking community. However, while browsing for sexy Geno pics on Russian websites i stumbled upon an interesting article i haven’t seen before. The article comes from Russian newspaper called “Life” titled “Malkin Is Not Allowed To Get Married” dated January 20th, 2009. Here is a brief recap of what it says.
